Yadkin Valley Baptist Church was organized in 1881 at an old fashioned Brush Arbor meeting. Since 1881, this church has served as a lighthouse to those in and around our community. As pastor since 1991, I have seen various ways that God ministers to people through His church. God has given us the privilege to provide an atmosphere in which people can come to know the Lord and then be challenged to grow in the Lord until they find a place to serve him. It has been a blessing to watch as those I minister to, begin to minister to the physical and spiritual needs of others, here in our community, across the state and throughout the world. Our goal for the future is to continue to build upon the foundation that our fore-fathers have laid in the past.
